Polished Paws Salon & Boutique is concerned about the health and safety of all our spa guests. For this reason, we require proof of the most current vaccinations for all our grooming pets. Routine parasite screening is also recommended. The following are the guidelines needed to partake in the spa experience.

Dogs

Vaccinations
  • DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza)
  • Rabies
  • Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
  • Canine Influenza – Recommended but not required
  • Leptospirosis – Recommended but not required for spa services

Parasite Screening
  • Annual Heartworm Test – Recommended but not required for spa services
  • Annual Fecal Floatation – Recommended but not required for spa services

Cats

Vaccinations
  • DRC (Distemper, Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus)
  • Rabies
  • Feline Leukemia – Recommended for cats that are exposed to the outdoors or multiple cat households, not required for spa services

Parasite Screening
  • Annual Fecal Floatation – Recommended but not required for spa services.
  • Annual Heartworm, Feline Leukemia, and Feline Aids (FIV) screening – Recommended for any cats that have exposure to the outdoors, not required for spa services.
